Brenda and Peter

Brenda and Peter brought their wonderful dog with them to our first consultation. I immediately liked them. Since then, I've photographed for their engagement portraits in La Jolla, bridal shower in Santa Monica, and now their wedding at Las Rocas Resort in Rosarito, Mexico.

I get to shoot in some of California's most beautiful spots. Baja California is no different. Las Rocas means the rocks, and I was photographing them all weekend for my California series.

Brenda and Peter, who were living in LA, managed to plan a wedding in Mexico and at the same time move their lives across the country to Minnesota. Needless to say, there were a lot of details to handle at once - it wasn't until she'd already put her dress on that Brenda had the time to write her vows.

This was the most introspective flower girl. Same expression as before, she gave me a glance and let me take this portrait before turning back to stare at the rocks.
