Melani and Brent

My favorites from a wedding at Maderas Country Club.

The story with this shot: Reception crowds take their own time to warm up to the presence of a photographer. Melani and Brent had a very active crowd, and so I took a bet on them during the maid-of-honor's toast. She was playing a game of sending them under the table to kiss each other repeatedly, and on one round I swooped up to their sweetheart table, dropped the camera under the tablecloth, and fired. The crowd lit up laughing, and the rest of the night they treated me just like another guest.
